The Project

Music video for local Bellingham artist DINOFOUR’s track ‘Who?.' The animation was projected onto the flat iron building in Bellingham, WA for the November 2019 Art Walk.

Process

The animation is made from mid-century magazine clippings, which I scanned and then digitally collaged and animated. During the animation process I let the magazine clippings design the space themselves. I would cut out magazines in groups, animate with what I had, and then cut out more when I ran out of pieces to us. It was an organic process that had the assests and music shape the video itself.
